It’s nearly the Easter holidays and everybody in Infant 2 is looking forward to two weeks off! After working hard all term on topics such as Materials, Weather, capacity and information texts, we are starting new topics when we return. We will be looking at ‘Plants’ in science and ‘Food’ in topic.
As you will probably know, we have also been looking at the story of the Three Little Pigs and we have even been changing parts of the story. We came up with the story of the Three Big Elephants! Even the houses changed and they built houses made from plastic, stone and metal! You can see some of our own plastic, stone and metal houses in the pictures.
For the next few months, we have Miss Ahmad joining us in class and she will be teaching us lots of exciting lessons. Already the class have been very welcoming and shown Miss Ahmad some excellent behaviour and willingness to learn.
This term phonics club has been a success as our phonics and reading scores are improving each week! Keep it up everyone and make sure we are reading over the break
Thank you for all your help and support this term and we hope everyone has a well-deserved rest and come back after the holidays refreshed and ready for the last term in Year 1!
