Y3: Lost Species

In year 3 we have been loving our guided reading book called Lost Species. It is a non-fiction text all about extinct species from the dinosaurs millions of years ago all the way up to the formosan clouded leopard 11 years ago.  

Our interest peaked in science when we learned about how fossils were formed and saw some real life examples! We loved researching some of the dinosaurs in our book such as the spinosaurus, kunbarrasaurus and protoceratops to find information about their discoveries.

We definitely have some budding paleontologists of the future!
