Are you ready for spaghetti?

We have been reading Ready ‘Ready for Spaghetti’ by Michael Rosen and Polly Dunbar

The book has lots of fun poems in it that the children really enjoy reading. One of their favourite poems is:

I’m ready for spaghetti Will you getti the spaghetti? Don’t say, “Not yetti spaghetti!” ‘cos I’m all setti for spaghetti.

We are looking forward to exploring the poems more this half term as it’s one of our spine books that we read each day. It also helps our children to get to know a different text genre.
