Thank you Marple Library

Pupils at the library

This week, year 3 have been on a geography fieldwork trip to Marple Locks to develop their understanding of rivers and the water cycle.

After a very wet walk down the canal, we came across and took shelter in Marple library where the children were very excited to be able to have a rest and choose a book to read. The staff in Marple library were so helpful and said it was so lovely to see the children wanting to read. The children were very lucky as the library had lots of leftover world book day books so gifted each child in year 3 a book to take home with them!
