Spring 2025…Year 2

The Twits by Roald Dahl. 

In Year 2 we have been reading our current DEAR book, The Twits by Roald Dahl. So far we have read that the story is based on a married couple, Mr and Mrs Twit, who do not like each other. Throughout the beginning of the story they play horrible tricks and pranks on one another! The Twits are so evil that they have decided to keep Muggle-Wump the Monkey captive! 

Joe said his favourite part was, “When Mr Twit sent Mrs Twit into the sky with the balloons all around her body.”

Locman added that he liked when “Mrs Twit fell on top of Mr Twit after the balloon prank.”

“I like that they prank each other, it makes me laugh!” Says Darcy.
