Author Serena Patel visits Seymour!

Year 3 have been reading Anisha Accidental Detective - school's cancelled by Serena Patel as their DEAR book this half term. We had the exciting opportunity to watch an author talk with Serena who told us all about her life from growing up to being an author. We loved hearing about her favourite things, how her love for reading turned into a love for writing and why she loves writing about Anisha's adventures!

Simrah said "I would love to be a writer just like Serena because I love reading."

Freddie mentioned "My favourite part of the story is when the school was flooded and Anisha had to work out who did it!"

Sema commented, "I like that Serena talks about Indian food and traditions in her stories."
