Viking Voyagers!

In Year 4 we have been reading the non – fiction book Viking voyagers. This book tells us about the history of the Vikings, where they came from, what they accomplished and the discoveries they made. We all know that Vikings were vicious warriors, but we also find out that they are adventurers and because of them we have many words in our English language that we can tribute to them like the word Friday and many words with a silent.

Year 4 are truly enjoying this book and the knowledge that it is linked to their next history topic makes everyone more excited about learning more about the Vikings. We h loved learning about how they invaded many countries and their beliefs but also excited to learn about their demise.
