The Resonance Centre

The Resonance Centre is your local holistic wellbeing hub dedicated to powerful positive change. The centre offers a daily timetable of FREE yoga, meditation and eft/tapping classes for adults along with our regular Saturday morning FREE children’s yoga class ‘Little Yogis’ for children ages 4-8.




Manchester Public Health

Manchester Public Health are part of the City Council and exist to improve the health of our population and support good physical, mental and social wellbeing of all ages.

By supporting individuals and families to take part in positive activities and strength based conversations we can start to build resilience and improve outcomes for our community.




Gateway M40

Team Gateway, a registered charity offering free face to face and telephone debt and welfare rights advice. Our welfare rights service includes claims, welfare benefits, mandatory reconsideration, appeals and tribunals. This includes Universal Credit claims, ESA and Housing Benefits. Our confidential debt advice service offer full debt resolution including debt management plans, debt relief order and bankruptcy with a fully qualified team of advisers.


Read Easy UK

Read Easy UK is a registered charity established to help adults with reading difficulties. Poor literacy levels are not just an impediment to employment and many of the practicalities of life; they are also associated with low self-esteem, a lack of confidence, isolation, and depression. The tuition provided by Read Easy is confidential, one-to-one (so there are no classrooms), flexible (so where and when the tuition takes place is planned around the location and availability of the Reader and their Coach) and it’s totally free. Read Easy is especially keen to recruit coaches in the east of Manchester. No qualifications are required, only a love of reading and the desire and patience to share the skill with others. Full training will be given along with the textbooks to be used.

The Beacon Centre

The Beacon Centre is partnering with a number of organisations to provide community-led activities for people in Beswick, Clayton & Openshaw. Some of our activities include an older people’s luncheon club, community grocer, job club and health & fitness sessions for all ages.

 
 



Clayton Sure Start Centre

Sure Start Children's Centres are places where children under 5 years old and their families can access a wide range of support services and information including early education, childcare, health and family support.

 
 
 
 


4CT

4CT support people, neighbourhoods and communities across Greater Manchester through capacity building and development of services, partnerships and community facilities. They deliver services to improve opportunities and quality of life for residents. They do this through get ready to work clubs, working with community centres, capacity building of community organisations and a variety of community based services (e.g. play schemes, youth clubs, holiday activities).



Place2Be

Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity with over 25 years’ experience working with pupils, families and staff in UK schools. We provide mental health support in schools through one-to-one and group counselling using tried and tested methods backed by research. We also offer expert training and professional qualifications.



Reform Radio

Our main focus is to use our platform to engage young people looking for new opportunities, working creatively with them over a sustained period to develop new skills for employment.

We want a society in which single parent families are treated equally and fairly. To get there, we provide information to help single parents support themselves and their family. We grow community-led projects by offering the local connections, tailored project support, fundraising assistance, access to opportunities and promotion you need to flourish.

Citizens Advice provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities.



Wood Street Mission

Wood Street Mission is a children’s charity helping children and families living on a low income in Manchester and Salford.

We provide practical help to help meet children’s day-to-day needs and improve their life chances. Through Family Basics we provide struggling families with children’s clothes, bedding and baby equipment, and toys and books which are important for children’s wellbeing and development.

We promote engagement in education by helping families with the costs of going to school through SmartStart and run holiday Book Clubs to promote reading and improve children’s literacy. We also provide toys for children to have presents on Christmas Day.



Citizen’s Advice Bureau

Citizens Advice provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities.



The Oasis Centre
