We have been reading The Bad Tempered Ladybird in Year One. The story is about a bad tempered ladybird who picks a fight with every animal it meets – but each time the ladybird decides “Oh, you’re not big enough!” and flies off. Towards the end of the day the bad tempered ladybird realises that life is much better when you are kind!
