This term we have been reading 'The Ravenous Beast'.
The Ravenous Beast is a great story filled with lots of new vocabulary for us.
We have been detectives and gone through the story looking for green words and red words that we know. We found green words like: 'cup, tent, wand and dog' we used our fred talk to help us read all of them!
During focussed learning, the Ravenous Beast challenged us to read as many green words from the story as we could! After we read them, we had a go at writing some ourselves!
In our Talk For Writing lessons we thought of our own questions for The Ravenous Beast like; Where do you live? Who are your friends? We were so lucky that the Beast sent us some videos with his answers on - we couldn't believe he answered us!
Ameeya: 'I love the white mouse in the story, he's so cute.'
Avia: 'I think the Ravenous Beast is so funny!'
Sultan: 'The grinning lion ate so many different things.'
Rocco: 'The marmalade cat is orange and yellow.'
